About Me
I'm Brandon Reyes. I am a data and analytics professional with over eight years of experience in turning data into clear, actionable insights. As a Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600) and Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), I have experience in the entire business intelligence lifecycle, from data preparation to final visualization. My core skill is changing scattered/inefficient information into automated, data-driven solutions. I use tools like Power Query for complex ETL, build scalable data models using star schema best practices, and write the DAX you need to uncover key business metrics. My background also includes experience in process automation using tools like DocuWare. Throughout my career, I've had the chance to work on some neat projects. A highlight was developing a Power BI report for the City of Laredo, that helped stakeholders to see the real-time financial impact of union negotiations. I was also honored to be an invited speaker at the U.S. Census Bureau's Opportunity Project Summit to provide feedback on national data solutions during one of their sprints. Beyond the technical aspects, I am passionate about empowering people. With over 400 hours of teaching experience, I've learned to make complex topics simple and to build solutions that are powerful, intuitive and easy to use.
